Moreover, the company has been exclusively appointed by the state to perform the Universal Postal Service in Italy.The group operates in the financial services segment through BancoPosta, established as a business division of Poste Italiane, and through BancoPosta Fondi SGR, a subsidiary of the company. This segment also includes the wholly owned subsidiary of Poste Italiane, Banca del Mezzogiorno. Pursuant to regulatory requirements, BancoPosta's services do not include lending services. Poste Vita and Poste Assicura are the group's insurance companies that offer a complete range of insurance, pension and savings products placed through the company's distribution network and, specifically, through BancoPosta.The other services sector includes services offered through PosteMobile.
