Products and services

Our loan portfolio consists primarily of residential mortgage loans secured by one- to four-family residential properties and agricultural real estate loans secured by farmland located in our primary market area. To a lesser extent, we also originate multifamily real estate loans, commercial real estate loans, construction and land loans, home equity lines of credit, commercial and industrial loans, and consumer loans. We generally retain the loans that we originate in our portfolio. However, in recent years, subject to market conditions and periodic review of our asset/liability management needs, we have determined to sell certain conforming, fixed-rate residential mortgages with longer terms upon origination, with servicing rights retained, to help limit our interest rate risk exposure and generate fee income. Following the conversion and stock offering, we intend to continue to seek to expand our residential real estate and agricultural real estate portfolios. Additionally, in January 2023, we began implementing an indirect automobile lending program, in which loan applications are referred to us by car dealerships.
