About CADOUX LTD (FYIRF)
CADOUX LTD (FYIRF) is a Other Industrial Metals & Mining company headquartered in Cottesloe, WA, Australia whose shares trade over-the-counter on the OTCQB tier.
Cadoux Limited is an emerging developer of high-quality critical minerals. Cadoux is focusing on two potential world-class projects - high purity alumina (HPA) and rare earths downstream production. Cadoux is positioning itself to be a significant producer of both HPA and rare earths to address growing demand in the rapidly developing high-tech product markets and to contribute to a decarbonising future. Cadoux has developed an innovative process design for the integrated production of high quality, high purity alumina (HPA) predominantly for electric vehicles (lithium-ion batteries), sapphire glass (LED) and other broader tech applications. HPA is increasingly becoming the primary sought-after input material for certain high-tech products, principally for its unique characteristics and chemical properties that address those applications' high specification requirements, such as LEDs and other sapphire glass products. Cadoux is also developing the Minhub third-party downstream heavy mineral sands and rare earths production facility to be based in Darwin. Rare earths are used in the components of many applications and devices used daily in our modern society, such as: the screens of smart phones, computers, and flat panel televisions; the motors of computer drives; batteries of hybrid and electric cars; and new generation light bulbs.
Products and services
High Purity Alumina (HPA) is a crystalline white powder made from almost pure aluminium oxide (Al2O3). Commonly, HPA is defined as Al2O3 which is >99.99% pure. HPA products are generally classified by purity: • 99.99% = 4N (equivalent to ≤100ppm impurities) • 99.999% = 5N (equivalent to ≤10ppm impurities) • 99.9999% = 6N (equivalent to ≤1ppm) HPA is produced, as a final product, in powder, pellet or granular form, depending upon the end-use. Various end-use applications have different physical and chemical tolerances and requirements. HPA is a versatile product with many broad uses. Some of the more common traditional uses include as a ceramic for producing substrates used in LED lighting and electronic applications, high strength scratch-resistant glass, as a fire retardant and as a fine polishing agent. As HPA becomes more accessible and specifications of certain applications increase – with demands on higher quality, HPA has found uses in new high-tech applications such as batteries and energy storage and high-grade ceramic applications. Rare earths are used in the components of many applications and devices used daily in our modern society, such as: the screens of smart phones, computers, and flat panel televisions; the motors of computer drives; batteries of hybrid and electric cars; and new generation light bulbs.
