Products and services

The Company is a concessionaire authorized to use public assets, as an independent producer, and a publicly held corporation, with headquarters in the Municipality of Florianópolis, State of Santa Catarina (SC), engaged in the generation and trading of electricity, which is regulated by the Brazilian National Electricity Agency (Aneel), linked to the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME). In the generation segment, the Company and its subsidiaries install and operate ventures from conventional energy sources, such as hydroelectric power plants and complementary plants, small hydroelectric power plants and wind farms, biomass and photovoltaic plants. In the trading area, it purchases and sells conventional and incentivized energy, and has customers nationwide. The Company is also engaged in the following areas: electricity trading operations and transmission of electricity. In 2019, the Company entered into the gas transportation segment through its subsidiary, in conjunction with Transportadora Associada de Gás S.A. (“TAG”).
