Products and services

Our original company, Splinternet Communications, Inc was formed in early 2000 to exploit opportunities in the transport of telecommunications over the Internet. In 2007, we developed a device to detect dangerous radiation, specifically gamma rays characteristic of the materials most likely to be used in creating radiation dispersion devices. During 2008, we developed an Internet Protocol (IP) based management, monitoring and messaging system which interfaces with our radiation detection devices, third-party radiation detection sensors and other third-party threat-event sensors. The management and messaging software provides administrative, configuration and messaging services. This management system enables our customers to add a variety of threat detection or sensor devices to their existing security systems and customize the actions to be taken when a detection event occurs. Defencall, Inc. was formed to facilitate the independent operation of the personal emergency notification app and service, and to provide it with additional outside funding. In 2024, Splinternet formed BioChar Plus to promote and exploit opportunities in transforming organic materials (waste wood, manure, municipal solid waste, etc.) into high Carbon materials, BioChar, which sequester Carbon and lower greenhouse gasses. The Company continues to seek acquisitions and partnerships with compatible companies.
