Products and services

Aequus continues to promote two third-party products in the Canadian market that include products for Dry Eye disease. Aequus is actively preparing for the launch of its third commercial product, a preservative-free glaucoma prescription medication called ZIMED® PF (as defined herein). This is the first available multi-dose, preservative free, bimatoprost product, will provide a unique treatment option for Canadian clinicians and their patients. Aequus received the New Drug Submission (“NDS”) approval from Health Canada in December 2022. The Company launched a new product and started selling ZIMED® PF in August 2023. Aequus continues to seek global partners who share their vision of improved patient outcomes and innovative, value-added solutions to address healthcare pain points. Using technology to improve patient compliance, improved interactions with medical professionals and staff, and digital information and resources for patients are just some of the key areas of growth for Aequus going forward. The Company continues to improve its e-commerce eyecare site and associated digital technologies serving the eye care professional channel. As the Company works to expand its product portfolio, it expects that it will bring added value to their partners and most certainly both patients and health care practitioners alike.
